But that magic is lost to me on my 42 inch screen, and scanlines make it look great. And it can look good on small screens no doubt unfiltered. It's only when handhelds came out with LCD screens that low res art started being perpetrated just as pixels. Low res games in particular WERE ALWAYS mean to be seen on a CRT TV.
